Party like a princess! I chose beautiful light and airy silk organza for this skirt, so it has a bit of "puff". I call this style 'Tutu', I know it isn't actually a tutu, but that's kind of the feel I wanted : small on the waist, and bouyant, with lots of movement.
CLEARANCE – I love this skirt, but I'm making space for new things here, so she needs a home. That's why I've reduced the price by 60%. I would love to see it worn and enjoyed.
This skirt sits high on your natural waistline, to accent your slim waist, and finishes above the knee.
The outer skirt is silk organza, and the inner skirt is light and breezy cotton voile – soft on your skin.
To create the striped panels I pleated them finely using a shibori technique. Then I dyed them red, turned them and pleated them again then dyed them blue.
I didn't want to completely lose the texture this process left in the fabric so I pressed it as little as possible, and you can still see where I made the pleats.
To fit size small, or an Australian size 10
Waist: 65cm, 25.5 inches (with a little 'give'). The actual waistband measures 68cm, which is 27inches.
Dry clean, or spot clean
